We use state-of-the-art acoustic modelling software to assist in the design process. This includes 3D environmental noise mapping involving the detailed analysis of external noise sources and visualisation of the resulting sound propagation into the wider environment.

The modelling software enables multiple noise sources to be inputted and assessed individually or in combination and at one or multiple receptors.

The noise maps can be used to establish and visualise how sound energy propagates into the wider environment, and to predict noise levels on different building façades and external amenity areas.

Design and mitigation options for various scenarios can be quickly tested and optimised to inform the decision-making process to arrive at an acoustically favourable outcome.
